In Genesis 3:15, the bible refers to an ongoing conflict where God declares enmity between the seed of the serpent and the seed of the woman. He took everything back that the enemy stole, and so the entire ministry of Jesus was not only to bring the kingdom, but to destroy the works of the devil, it's to break the chains and the strongholds that hold us captive in sin, because his authority demonstrated a power over both the physical and the spiritual worlds, and that's what he gives us.”
